My name is Bridget Brown and I am honored to be the Elementary Principal at Wellman-Union.  I have been in education for the past 18 years.  I spent my first 4 years at Frenship ISD as an elementary teacher and the last 14 years here at Wellman-Union. 

A little about myself… I graduated from Tarleton State University with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.  After teaching 7 years I decided to further my education and received my Masters from Lubbock Christian University in 2016.

My husband, Barrett Brown, and I have been married 18 years and we have two beautiful children; Ansley, 15 and Anson, 11. 

I love spending time with family, hanging out at the barn with the horses and cows, and watching all sports. 

I am so excited to serve the students, teachers, and community of Wellman-Union! I have a passion for education and know that all students can learn and grow academically and socially. My goal in education is to do whatever it takes for all students to succeed! I look forward to a fun year!
